Just beyond these trees is the field that the Amishman was plowing with his horses back on March 12th. This reminds me of when I was young and staying at my grandparents. Their home was completely surrounded by trees. One winter morning we awoke to one of those breathtaking sights when everything was covered with a blanket of snow.
@alophoto - You change your name more than "The Artist Formerly Known As Prince"! (>‿◠)
I didn't mind it, but I didn't HAVE to go out in it either. We just holedup. I am one of those crazy people that will take snow over rain. If we get the 1.6 inches they are predicting that would have been over a foot of snow!!! Do you want to build a snowman?
Mentally all ready for Spring and then this!! Actually, I love snow and am somewhat peeved that we didn't get any at all in our part of the UK this year - maybe next year. It looks so pretty in your picture.
@judithdeacon - I know what you mean! We have had two severe winters in a row 2013-2014. In a way it was a nice reprieve that we were spared this year, but I feel like we were cheated out of the snow.
beautiful winters scene...i don't get snow...or if any falls it's a tiny amount that disappears almost immediately...never anything like this except in the mountains...beautiful
