Finally got out for a walk by the river today after months and months. The lilac is past its prime, but still lovely and there was lots, both white and purple. The footbridge is closed for repairs at the moment, which is a shame, but I guess it will reopen one day.
Still looks better than ours. ours is turning brown. my double purple lilac was a lot lighter in colour and its fragrance wasn't as over powering as other years.
