E6 on a baseball scorecard indicates an error by the shortstop. This is a photo of part of my scorecard made whilst watching Game 6 of the 1992 World Series on TV in Spain. (The process was actually more complicated than that, but suffice it to say I saw all of the games, though not "live".) In this instance the error was committed by the Blue Jays shortstop Alfredo Griffin, allowing a second Atlanta runner in the bottom of the 11th inning (after the Jays had scored twice in the top). The exclamation mark beside the 1-3 putout at the top of the page indicates my joy when Timlin (1, the pitcher) threw to Carter (3, first base) to end the game, and the series with a win for Toronto!
