Actually "Truth and Reconciliation Day", Orange Shirt Day remembers and pays tribute to indigenous children who for too many years were sent off away from their families to residential schools around Canada. The lady who threw out the first pitch at the Toronto Blue Jays game is a survivor of one of those schools. (Photo taken of TV screen as pitch was thrown.)
