My photo class made a visit to the spectacular flower fields in Carlsbad, California. The photos do not sufficiently portray the color and the beauty of this area.
Wow, oh Wow! What color! I remember with great fondness a visit to a Farmer's Market in Sacremento a number of years ago where there were flower vendors everywhere. Their stands were so loaded with color it was almost impossible to take in all the beauty. You grow a lot of gorgeousness there in CA. Thanks for sharing a glimpse of it here.
I about hurt myself laughing at some of your comments, Ron. The Massengill one, that had me rolling. Your fav'ing it was a nice touch. And no, no pics of Denise playing on the slide. Not today, not tomorrow. I won't say 'never' though because I've found it's sure to happen if you use that word. Chive on.
Wow Ron......We have spent lots of time in Carlsbad but most of it in the Outlet Stores. 8-( Beautiful montage, composition, color and light. Could have faved each one of them but you will have to settle for one.
@dianeburns@simta@pcoulson@tuya@lyndemc@cjphoto@jin1x@grahambudd@terryliv@katerinatina Thanks all for the comments and the favs! This place is amazing for a photographer - it's really hard to take a bad shot (trust me I have a few). I had so many that I wanted to share that a collage was really the only way to present the captures without stringing our a week's worth of flower after flower. I'll likely stick a few in there as fillers, 'cause I took almost 400 pictures! Consider yourself warned!
Looking through your photos, I recall I came on board back with the veteran on the motorcycle. Now I'm enjoying all I've been missing! And I really missed the flower fields big time! Perhaps I should mark the calendar now for next year!
