One of the assignments for this week in my photo class is to take a photo through a window. I was enjoying a cold refreshing beverage in a downtown Toronto watering hole and spotted this view of the CN Tower and decided to mark this as the completion of that particular assignment.
Nice view! I've only seen it from a distance while on a plane...(and yes, I got my city-scape photos from that vantage point...) If this was a class assignment, I may be inspired to post one I worked on today (HDR/PM/easy...) I've been at the computer all day and trashed the few photos I took this morning... Time for a filler, as you say...
Great shot through the window love the lightiing, blue sky and dark silhouetted foreground, been up the tower taken photo straight down through the glass floor to the water feature below, if you get a chance its worth a visit;)
I like how the slats of the blinds are perfectly situated against the building in the background so that each slat has white on each side of it. Weird observation, huh? I look for stuff like that.
@Weezilou Well this is obviously a very belated response, but thanks and for those who follow both of us, I had the pleasure of meeting and spending some time taking photos with Louise and Ken today (Sunday, June 1). It was an absolute pleasure and followers prepare to see a few similar postings from the two of us. Great to meet you, Louise and Ken!!
@pcoulson Thanks, Peter, next time I'm going to have to do that (although the experience just a few days ago where the glass cracked under the tourists in the Sears Tower version of that got my attention!).
@pixiemac Like ships passing in the night. Either you'll just have to come out to Southern California, or I'm going to have to return to Merry England. Either would suit me just fine!
@lyndemc Wow, I never even notice that at all! Your awareness beyond the main focus is amazing! I was simply in panic mode because I hadn't completed my "through the window" project yet. Thanks for noticing that!
