I'm with the crowd that thought these were watermelons at first. The spots and stripes had me going. I think I would've figured out they're apples tho. The fluorescent lights have given these fruits matching lines.
P.S. Thanks for the confirmation on the wide perspective I went with on the Island Barn picture. I toyed with cropping it shorted but had a feeling I liked it better with the space left intact.
@pixiemac@pcoulson@cindyloo@_catherine_@lyndemc@simta For my next trick I shall photograph watermelons and make them look like apples! Yes, the overhead lights gave these apples a unique look. I continue to be amazed at the quality shots from this Lumix P&S camera. Thanks kindly for the comments!
@terryliv This is actually the first time I've ventured into a commercial grocery store with a camera in hand (I was also shopping for groceries). But when I travel overseas I always seem to migrate to the farmers market type fruit stands. Great opportunities for people shots too! But you've got lizards and birds, so who needs food?
