Another from the saddle

Day 4 of the motorcycle adventure. Been a while since I was able to post. As you can see, we hit some desolate areas. A connection to a cell tower was not always possible. A connection to a wifi spot even less so.
WooHoo!!!!!! Wondered what had happened to you Ron. Great shot of the road ahead. Did you exclude the speedo on purpose :-)
PS I love road shots.

This is the part of traveling that can get tedious..... desolation! Doesn't look like you'll be home for the beach area meet and shoot with the gang on Sunday. We won't be there either. Leaving tomorrow for Alberta and the summer.

Brilliant shot. All that open road and the mountains at the end. You really get the sense of freedom.

only yesterday, I was wondering where you were... and now I know. What an amazing road!

gorgeous scenery
June 25th, 2015
Wow! That's one long straight road :)

Stunningly beautiful!!! Desolate, yes, but plenty of time to drink it all in! Hoping you'll be back to join us on Sunday as you'll have a captured audience and can regale us with stories!

hi Ron! Seems like you're having a pretty good time on your trip - want me to just throw everything on your desk into the trash so you have no reason to come back to the office?? :)

All those vistas are amazing
June 26th, 2015
Gorgeous scenery up ahead.....and, you seem to have gotten pretty adept at Ride and Shoot!!
June 26th, 2015
@terryliv Thanks, Poppo. Are you implying that I might have been exceeding the legal posted speed limit?? Not a chance! ;-) Thanks for the comments. More road shots will be coming.

@summerfield Yeah, hit the mountain square on the head! That is probably at least a seven mile (10 km) stretch of road. To be honest we bikers really prefer a little more curvy road, but I couldn't not capture the beauty of the scene.

@jin1x Thanks Miss Sunkist - always good to hear from you - especially when you honor me with a fav!

@aglennc Ah, but desolation can be very soothing too, Anita. Actually i'm back home now - posting well past the actual shoot dates. I am in fact looking forward to the gathering in Huntington Beach. You'll be missed. :-(

@onewing Thanks Babs! Yep, freedom is what the rides are all about. Thanks for understanding. ;-)
June 27th, 2015
@pixiemac Thanks for the concern, Sarah. Yep, 12 days of biking through the American Southwest. Very pretty country. More to come over the next few days.

@kauaikris Thank you, Kristina. I know that you were recently in Utah. It certainly does not get enough credit for its scenic beauty.
June 27th, 2015
@gilbertwood Thanks Denise - I could have posted dozens of such shots (but this one turned out to be the best). As I mentioned to Vikki, long straight roads are scenic, but not among bikers' favorites. We prefer the twisties - and I'll have some of those for you coming up. :-)
June 27th, 2015
@Weezilou You bet I'll be there, Louise! Not sure how many of my stories I can share with that group. ;-) Looking forward to it.
June 27th, 2015
@cmewander Would you please??
June 27th, 2015
@tigerdreamer Thanks, Karen. I think it would really be possible to post a full 365 days of Utah alone and never have less than stunning view. Beautiful place.
