Herman Takes His Shot by stray_shooter

Herman Takes His Shot

The camera is just about all that Herman here can handle. My alternate entry in the Toys challenge, honoring yesterday's (Inter)national Camera Day.
love Herman and his camera :)

Herman looks like a pretty groovy, hippy bear!! Tough to click that shutter without a thumb!! :-((

Great fun image for International Camera Day, lovely presentation and detail Ron, Looks like you have as many cameras as me, looks like the Fujifilm X100s to me not the Fujiifilm XQ2 used of the motorbike trip:)

Great shot for International Camera Day! Cool colors, looks like he's all set to take some great photos!

Almost too much for him to handle but it looks like he has a very good grasp of the fundamentals!

This is just too cute! What a darling character Herman is, and that's a treasure of a camera's he's got there.

Когда увидим фотографии,снятые Германом?

Cute little psychedelic bear! Love the image and framing too!

This is divine! Absolutely love everything about it! And look at the good use you're getting out of that camera as well! Bravo!

@gilbertwood @panthora @kauaikris @summerfield Wow, I didn't realize Herman was such a throwback to the "groovy" era. Shoot, I still have shirts like this! Thanks for commenting. :-)

@cmewander More like a point and point! Or point and hope. Herman looks good, but he can't take a picture worth beans.

@pcoulson Thanks so much for the complimentary critique, Peter. :-) Yes, I think we both have a camera addition problem, and you are spot on - that is the X100S. And it is without question my favorite camera - I just don't seem to grab it as often as I'd like. That shall change!

@cjphoto Thanks Chris - I'll have him contact CJ for some pointers! ;-)

@grammyn Thanks for commenting Katy. Yes, he's got a firm grip in the camera, he's checked his aperture and shutter setting. Shame about the non-opposable thumb, though.

@lyndemc Thanks Denise! As I mentioned to Peter above, I love that camera - but it's masquerading as a Leica. My FujiFilm X100S is just the coolest camera I own.

@simta Ха-ха! Германа фотографии предназначены для привилегированных людей только. Он даже не поделиться ими со мной!

@joysfocus Thank you, Joy. That framing actually came from the 365 on-line photo editor, Picmonkey. I don't mess with it much, but decided to play a little bit in this case. The Polaroid just seemed appropriate.

@Weezilou Thanks Louise! I think I take more pictures of that camera than a do with the camera. I vow to change that. Tomorrow is hereby declared a dedicated X100S day!

Hi Ron. How do you translate for Tatiana? Does the website do it automatically?
July 4th, 2015
Far Out!
July 5th, 2015
Hi Ron. I figured out the language barrier. Just go to google translate.
July 5th, 2015
So cute!
July 5th, 2015
@joysfocus I see you already figured it out - actually I use the Bing translator - seems to be a little better, for me anyway. I know, shocking, huh?

@linnypinny Hey, thanks for stopping by and commenting Lin!

@bill_fe Seems timely with the Grateful Dead celebrating year no. 50! ;-)
