Me and My Shadow by stray_shooter

Me and My Shadow

I watched these two guys for a while and was fascinated by the way this guy in the background mimicked every move of the pelican in the foreground. He'd turn to his left, so would his shadow. He'd look up, he'd look down, so would his shadow. He's like the annoying baby brother.
Cute shot and great narration.

He does actually look a lot younger! Maybe he knows how to learn about life! Neat shot!

Wonderful shot and I enjoyed reading your experience. :)

I love this Ron. The placement of the "shadow" is brilliant. Baby brothers can be annoying but in truth older brothers are lost without them :)

@stray_shooter Thought about you all yesterday at Huntington Beach. Wish John and I could have been there. However, leaving tomorrow at Oh dark 30 on our trip, we decided we'd better stay home and get ready. Well be back for the next meet up. Count us inn! Someone said it was your birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Those shoebill Storks are so prehistoric looking. I wonder why he was mimicking the pelican. Maybe he was trying to be cool and fit in.
