Fantastic image Ron, Fav, its great to use ND water in strong light gives fantastic milky water, have you seen the round variable ND filter that fit on the lens these are a lot less bulky when travelling light:)
@Weezilou Lemme get this straight - you lost the lenses, so you bought new cameras? Nice! ;-) Good to hear from you again Louise. Hated to be in time out lately.
@aglennc Thanks Anita. I'm off on a couple motorcycle adventures here again, starting tomorrow, in fact. Look forward to hearing about your own adventure.
@pcoulson Thanks very much Peter. I do have an adjustable version, and if fact used it in this case. I'm finding it's very tricky, though. If you try to get too dark, it results in some vignetting and does some strange things with the light overall. I think the best solution is some combination of stacking a fixed ND filter along with the variable and playing around. I was surprised that I could do a 30 second exposure in the middle of the day!
@maggiemae Wow, thanks Maggiemae! I didn't realize it made the honor roll. For some reason that often seems to happen after I lay out for a bit. Happy!
@888rachel Thanks Rachel. Great to hear from you again too! I have to start making some more definitive plans regarding my visit to your land. It's only a few weeks away - hope we get a chance to get together for a bit.
@stray_shooter I'm pleased you explained that Ron have had the same results with the variable ND filter thought it was just me, now when using it tend to go for small values for better results, but still end up cropping the final image:)
