The Little Golden Gate by stray_shooter

The Little Golden Gate

Day 9 (halfway through) the motorcycle adventure and we have made our way to the Ozark Mountain area of Arkansas, a truly outstanding place to ride and gawk. The "Little Golden Gate" aka the Beaver Bridge is a small single-lane bridge that's a mere 11 feet (less than 3 1/2 meters) in width, meaning that crossers have to silently "negotiate" who will be crossing should drivers going in opposite directions arrive simultaneously. The surface consists of wooden planks that move around some, which meant that crossing the bridge on a motorcycle was somewhat of an adventure. We all made it, though, and were able to pull over and take this much captured view.
Beautiful point of view, reflections, colour and light Ron, in the countryside we have metal cattle grids a little daunting on a motorcycle they almost always sight them on bend in the road your heart rate increases proportional to the side of the wheels, lol:)
