Broke Down

I was lucky to happen upon this during the "golden hour." I feel like I'm channelling my inner @lyndemc here. I don't think this will be going anywhere real soon.
Fabulous shot - golden hour really adds to it!

it might be a little bit difficult to use it as a get-away vehicle, non? :-)

Wonderful light, perspective and fine detail Ron another great image:)

Nice shot of a buckboard? wagon?

Lovely wagon it has a lot of character. At least it looks as though it still has all its wheels.

I do love old broken down things.

OOOOOhhhh! Look at all this delicious brown and rust!! LoL about your inner lyndemc. Great shot you got here, and at the perfect light.

You enjoy some wonderful sights as you travel! This is gorgeous!

Love those textures and muted hues.

Well spotted and such a strong composition in the golden light. Thought I was following you...fixed that now.

@cottiac Sometimes you get lucky! Thanks for the comments.

@summerfield Not only would it be difficult as a get-away vehicle, but getting away would be quite the challenge in this area. Nothing but desert for miles and miles around town. And BTW, what exactly is your interest in getaway vehicles??
January 5th, 2017
@pcoulson Thanks as always Peter. I knew you'd like it, you know, the architecture element and all. My photos still don't seem to come out as crisp and clear as yours though. Working on that!

@joysfocus I think it used to be a wagon - a real one too! You never know in these tourist traps, but I was looking it over and it sure appeared to be genuine.
January 5th, 2017
@onewing Thanks Babs - it does have all of its wheels, but just barely. They are pretty deteriorated, and I was actually trying to take some photos of the details, but none of them were real interesting.

@tigerdreamer Old broken down things - you talking about the wagon or me? ;-)
January 5th, 2017
@lyndemc Hey, it's true! I was lining this up thinking, "boy, Denise is gonna love this one!" Not sure I ever knew of anyone referring to rust as delicious, but hey, to each his/her own!

@salza Thanks Sally. Timing is everything! I appreciate the feedback.

@Weezilou Thanks Louise. Somehow it seems your eye is out for more photo ops when you're on a roadtrip, huh?
January 5th, 2017
@jorlam Thanks! A few years ago I never would have even noticed such a setting, but thanks to 365 I have a whole new way of viewing things!
January 5th, 2017
@taffy Thanks Taffy! I thought you were following already too - huh. Well, we're all in order now. Thanks for stopping by to comment - I do appreciate it!

@stray_shooter If not, well, what's the point? (That said as a photographer, though I'm sure not everyone likes stopping for photos as much as I do! When Pam @pamknowler visited last October, we were so well paired, always on the lookout for that next picture! Fortunately good-natured Ken is Driver-Extraordinaire, and we only missed what we didn't see!)
