I was lucky to happen upon this during the "golden hour." I feel like I'm channelling my inner @lyndemc here. I don't think this will be going anywhere real soon.
@summerfield Not only would it be difficult as a get-away vehicle, but getting away would be quite the challenge in this area. Nothing but desert for miles and miles around town. And BTW, what exactly is your interest in getaway vehicles??
@pcoulson Thanks as always Peter. I knew you'd like it, you know, the architecture element and all. My photos still don't seem to come out as crisp and clear as yours though. Working on that!
@joysfocus I think it used to be a wagon - a real one too! You never know in these tourist traps, but I was looking it over and it sure appeared to be genuine.
@onewing Thanks Babs - it does have all of its wheels, but just barely. They are pretty deteriorated, and I was actually trying to take some photos of the details, but none of them were real interesting.
@lyndemc Hey, it's true! I was lining this up thinking, "boy, Denise is gonna love this one!" Not sure I ever knew of anyone referring to rust as delicious, but hey, to each his/her own!
@taffy Thanks Taffy! I thought you were following already too - huh. Well, we're all in order now. Thanks for stopping by to comment - I do appreciate it!
@stray_shooter If not, well, what's the point? (That said as a photographer, though I'm sure not everyone likes stopping for photos as much as I do! When Pam @pamknowler visited last October, we were so well paired, always on the lookout for that next picture! Fortunately good-natured Ken is Driver-Extraordinaire, and we only missed what we didn't see!)
