An Alternative Perspective

I posted a shot of Olvera Street in downtown Los Angeles a couple of days ago with the Post Office Terminal Annex in the background. It made for such a nice backdrop (and my new lens has such an awesome aperture) that I thought I'd feature it again, this time with a geranium in the foreground. This for all of the people who hate flowers but love Terminal Annexes. If you squint and turn your head just a bit, you can imagine the dome stuck on the head of the flower.
Good to get a flower for the focus so you can have a blurry dome! I like it!

I like the effects you're getting with that fancy new lens of yours.

Very nice. I tried a similar shot after I saw you taking yours. I don't think mine turned out nearly as nice as yours. Splendid colors and composition.

lovely composition love the point of focus and defused background with just enough detail to figure out the backdrop an image with wonderful colour and close up detail Ron:)

Lens envy here. So beautiful. What an elegant post office, very fab. Favorite, young man.

That's a really nice capture - for obvious reasons, most of them stated above.
