Had to reach into shots from prior ventures to the beach to make up for not being able to get out and shoot today. I took this in San Clemente when @terryliv and Rhoda were visiting in October. Added a little Topaz treatment to dress it up some and now am missing summer as the rain comes down presently.
@terryliv You are so kind...on paper. The drought is definitely over....for a while. Thanks to the fires and heavy rain, we went directly to a mud state. It's never dull in Southern California. Johnny Carson used to say it's the only place where the houses come with racing stripes and seat belts on the couches.
@louannwarren Thanks Lou Ann. California may be beautiful, but if there is such a thing the state is insane. Sometimes I can't believe I remain here with all of the goofballs running things here. We call it the beauty tax.
@jyokota Thanks Junko. I'm sure you've taken in that view at one time or another. You're right about cruising in on a bike. Climbing back up to El Camino Real is a whole different experience though - ask me how I know.
beautiful shot and aces on the processing. it's like staring into a different point in time. so familiar yet strange.
