You can't go to Florida without having a few alligator encounter. My traveling companion and I opted to take an airboat ride through the Everglades to view alligators and other amazing species of wildlife in this one-of-a-kind land. I was pretty thrilled to be able to capture a fairly good size gator. They're actually pretty gentle creatures.....unless you happen to be an unsuspecting fish.
Oh boy. I’ve never heard the word “gentle” used when describing alligators. I guess the media has brainwashed me. 😅 This is a great photo. I recently purchased the Canon G9 Mark II, for the same reasons you did, I’m sure. Small, easy to use, has tons of bells and whistles, takes lovely photos. This photo is a perfect example of it’s abilities.
*Gentle*??? Perhaps *Full and Docile* for the moment.... But why quibble! This is a gorgeous photo, and when I read Lou Ann's @louannwarren comments, I looked again and yes, that's a wonderful image! I suppose you have to pack light when you're on a bike!
