A Pleasant Walk Spoiled by a Round of Golf

Golf day this day, and I was in need of a shot, so out came the iPhone and then a little processing to liven things up a bit. The beauty of this layout belies the evilness of the course. Needless to say, it was not a satisfying day - golfwise, that is.

You are not alone on the bad day of golf, volumes of “feel better” tomes have been written on that very subject. As well as many jokes, ha. At least usually the course is beautiful, which lessens the pain. Being a photographer helps too, you can see the beauty past the end of the golf club. 😊 Your photo is that idea personified.

This is such a pretty scene! I really never could understand people chasing a little ball around and hitting it with a big stick .... but then, I have heard that a bad day of golf is still better than a good day of work!

Stunning perspective and image Ron, what a beautifully maintained course, a golf friend of mine had a sign on his golf bag that stated, " a bad day on the golf course beats a good day at work every time" :)
