Apologies in advance to my UK friends! This being Independence Day in the USA, I was pretty much compelled to post a picture containing Old Glory.....but my search for an American flag met with little success - until I stumbled onto a shot that I took from last year's visit to Ireland! Yeah, go figure. This pub is the Hairy Lemon in Dublin, where my golfing buddies and I spent considerable time. Why they have an American flag in addition to the Irish flag was never made clear to me - perhaps it was because of the ungodly number of other Americans that I found in the city. I guess the exchange rate was good.
Interesting capture full of wonderful detail and colour, I was a little confussed at first viewing the shot before reading the narrative, noticing the bratach na hÉireann flying ( Irish tricolour flag) and the advert for KilKenny Irish beer, but then it all became crystal clear great street capture hope you had a great Independence day Ron:)
