partner and i drove down to the pond after we got stopped by the cop (due to the partial peel off of his licence plate). with the moon almost full and so bright, the sky almost cloudless, the pond almost calm despite a strong wind, the view was just stunning. now he appreciates "long exposure" shots.
would've wanted more movement from the water fountain but we really couldn't complain about that or it would've been much colder. would've propped the tripod nearer the edge of the boardwalk, but it was really difficult to see even with the quite strong moonlight. but he likes this shot for the wispy clouds in the background and the reflection of the moon across the water.
thank you for your kind views and comments; know that they are truly and sincerely appreciated. i'm quite behind in my commenting; i shall be playing catch up once again.
I love this, the reflection is the first thing grabbing my attention but then I am caught by the blue sky and the lights coming from the far side. Just beautiful.
