this is the other artist featured in the CD 'rendez-vous' with cloé bernard which i posted yesterday. one of the best musicians i've come across, his guitar skills are so enviable i almost bought a guitar tonight. i was like: camera? guitar?
thankfully for everyone including myself, sensibility took over my head. like when would i have the time to re-learn how to play the guitar? my fingers are sixty years old, i don't think they'd be as pliable as when we were teenagers. i think i have a better chance at photography.
thank you everyone for your visits and precious comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
You're never too old to learn! I'm 62 and over the last year or so have been learning to play the ukelele, we meet up each Saturday to practice and have even done a few gigs!! I'm not great but I really enjoy it! We don't play George Formby, we do pop songs! The photo is really good, I like the B & W.
Hi there Summerfield
I am your Push partner this week. Wow! You have had a long and exciting 365 journey. I have loved looking at some of your beautiful shots.
I'm not sure if you have done this ( I didn't see it in your very helpful list of challenges) but I would like you to do a double exposure shot. It should be in camera, using either the "Multiple Exposure" setting in the Shooting Menu (Hoping you have it on the D3100) or "Image Overlay" in the Retouch menu. If this is too much for you, let me know and I'll rethink the challenge. Good Luck and I'm looking forward to seeing your results
This looks like a concert I would have thoroughly enjoyed. Great shot. (I used to play guitar too but can no longer press down on the strings hard enough without my arthritis asking me, "WHY?!!"
