hot and humid in toronto and i was cooking the whole day. in the early evening, i decided I've been couped up enough so i trotted off downtown to the legislature building not realizing that there was a 'labour day' parade which lucky for me was just winding up when i arrived.
passed by a large oak tree teeming with acorns and they were quite low. amazing how the darn squirrels have not caught up with the tree. and i was just lamenting to christine @k1w1 this morning on her acorn post that the oak trees around where i am didn't have acorns. and then i found one that was full of them. i remember seeing an ad poster from when i was in college, of a little girl peeking through the pants of a little boy and the caption was "from little acorns grow mighty oaks." i forgot what the ad was about but i thought that now such an image would raise the ire of a lot of people.
for the get pushed challenge, this week my partner is brianna @lilminimonka and her push was a photo showing evolution.
