we had the grandsons from this morning until late in the afternoon. i had planned to do a water balloon shot with them but we were having too much fun i forgot all about it. now i would have to do it alone or wait until the next time they're here.
my get pushed challenger this week, however, challenged me to do the current camera settings challenge which was fortuitous as the table top 'studio' is still set up on the table. grabbed a sprig of rosemary from the kitchen window and washed it. there remained a small droplet at the end of one of the blades. i got excited when i saw that the anthurium from last friday reflected on the water drop. if it wasn't for the challenge i'd have cropped the shot to show the drop more, but i'm happy with this. and to celebrate a bar of chocolate!
sooc. camera settings: manual, f/11, 4 seconds, 200mm, exposure compensation -1, picture style faithful, auto WB.
so, it's a two-fer for this one. get pushed challenge and camera settings.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are majorly appreciated. and i should also mention that i do appreciate the favs you so generously bestowed on my last few days' shots. you folks are awesome!
A few weeks ago, I was challenged to photograph a burst water balloon. My sons and I had a fabulous time doing that. You'll have to try that with your grandkids! Got some great pictures, too.
