the name plate indicated it was a teenaged orangutan. it sort of looks like orangutan, but i don't know my primates. to me a monkey is a monkey is a monkey. or my cousins (tee-hee!) whatever. if it's not an orangutan, then we pretend it is because i paid lotsa money to get inside the zoo with little ivy jean and young jack. :-)
i had wanted really to go to Chinatown today, but between the fire drill and the yoga class, i really would feel guilty if i spend another hour away from my desk. there's just too much to do. tomorrow, lunch with two old friends and a meeting. when will it stop!!!
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are genuinely appreciated.
tomorrow, my "mad hatters' and 'five plus two' entries.
Life is good for you and hopefully for Oaran Gutan too! Miss Gutan seems to be in love with this barred jar -or else its got fudge in it! A great photo!
This Orangutan has such a melancholic expression. Very nice shot. Sounds like you had a fun time with the mini humans. I would much rather be busy even if it means I hanker after some down time!
I like to have lots of things going on, today has been a bit of a quiet one, but good! Great photo of orangutan, the hands look quite human! Have a nice lunch with your friends : )
Isn't he just charming! I really love these guys...could watch them for hours, but I'm always with people who want to move along...("Let's get going..." they say...) Thanks for bringing him by for a visit... And why is it I haven't been following your site? Must do something about that! One of your first photos I saw was when you were sitting on the bed with curlers in your hair and your commentary had me in stitches!
@salza - thank you, sally. i did have fun with the little humans, until they ate all my sushi!
@espyetta - oh, okay, that's a good point. yes, this one didn't have any tail, just long haired. thank you, MB. see, you come to 365 and you're still teaching!

@Weezilou - and is that why i don't see your postings as well? hahaha! i thought i was also following you. but i swear your posting appeared on my feed sometime ago. i don't understand how this buttons work. most times i thought i'd commented on someone's post and then next time i go to the album my comment's gone. go figure! in any case, let me click that button now before it slips my mind if that was the problem!
Definitley an orangutan. Just like the one with Clint Eastwood in the movie "Every Which Way But Loose" Cute shot. I applaud your tenacity and creativity with "O"
