and/or oats. i eat my oatmeal with dried blueberries and raw pine nuts. sometimes if i want it a little bit sweet, i mix in a teaspoon of maple syrup. and if i'm missing my mother, i put condensed milk in my oatmeal and eat it with toast lathered with butter.
my planned shot for today is not accessible or not available. i walked two blocks to get to the place and they didn't have it. this is my spiel: "hi, how are you? my name is vikki and i came here because i have an assignment in my photography course. i need to take a photo of an *****. how does that look like? i frankly haven't seen one in person. do you have one?" you see the amused look in the face of the store manager but only to be told, "oh, we don't carry that, those are high end items so you only get that from really specialized stores. but you're welcome to take pictures of anything else in the store."
drat!
so tomorrow, i go to a really specialized store to get my photo. and if i don't get one, not to worry. i have my back-ups!
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly and genuinely appreciated.
I agree with Lisa, I really like the comp. I like the prepared dish along side the uncooked oatmeal and the oat twig? or whatever it's called. Another O! You're on quite a roll my friend.
I'm with Maggiemae, mysterious indeed... can hardly wait to see where this is going.I like the shot too. Your mother-love oatmeal sounds delicious. I have my oatmeal with dried blueberries, walnut bits, and dried coconut flakes. Maple syrup would finish it off.. or condensed milk which would finish it and me off quite nicely...
Wow - you are very dedicated to this challenge! :) At least you got some exercise in... I like my oatmeal hot, with bananas, yoghurt and strawberries :)
This could be a magazine advertisement shot. It's fabulous. And I love oatmeal. And it makes me think of my parents. And I love a mystery. If you don't find what you're looking for, hope we find out what it was anyway....
@northy - hey, it's my photo buddy! how you doin'! i can't tell you on here of course. but when i go out later to shoot i'll text you because maybe you have one in your housr. off to vacuum now. :-)
@bill_fe - thank you, bill. i was going to osaka, japan to photograph it but it was a little bit far. :-)
