haiku by summerfield

haiku

echoes of your voice
memories of your touch still stir
why can't i forget.

i wake up there's you
all day it's you i think of
at night it's still you.

wow! it took me ten minutes to write two lousy haikus, longer than the processing i did on this. many thanks to my model, katsuko, for posing for me tonight. well, she had no choice, hadn't she?

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
Lovely image and words; it's been quite a while since I read or wrote Haiku and this has stirred the urge again!

Beautiful words and picture.

there's a sinister aspect to this loveliness, the dark side of obsession, the girl trapped in (behind) the bottle. I like this

I'm lovin' the pink! Nice composition but I kind of agree with Françoise too. Is there nothing you can't do?

Meg
I love this perfume bottle series you have going. Very pretty! And you write quite a lovely haiku too!

A pagoda shaped bottle seems to fit Katy quite well. This is fantabulous processing.

@grammyn - i can't use the sewing machine even if my life depended on it. :-)
December 9th, 2014
Lol! I seriously dobt even that!

@grammyn - hahaha! when my mother was still alive, she had to set up the sewing machine, thread it and i can't even turn the pedal, the needle would just go back and forth and i ended up with a large piece of fabric with an inch of thread sewn on top of each other. i didn't learn how to crochet until high school although i could do simple embroidery. thank goodness for "liquid thread", actually a kind of fabric glue. that's what i use for hemming. it's useless in manila though. but then there are a lot of seamstresses around there. no, i can't sew. i can't even cut a fabric. i did, however, cut an umbilical cord once, but not doing that again, no, i ain't! :-)

@summerfield What in the world?! See what I mean! an umbilical cord?!
