smokers are not supposed to be smoking within 9 metres of a building's exit or entrance, at least that's the by-law in the city. but smokers don't always follow the rules and security won't always ask people to move farther. plus with the extreme cold weather we had been experiencing, the smokers won't venture too far from the doors. this man is right next to one of the back doors of the hockey hall of fame. granted he's on the other side of the building's fence, he's still just a few feet away.
this was taken on tuesday when we had a sunny day, with the strong hard sunlight casting shadows with more defined edges.
thank you muchly for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated. i know i still haven't completely caught up with everyone's albums but i'm getting there.
Good shot- he's caught in the act! Actually shots like this just prove to me all the more that smoking (nicotine) is an addiction. A smoker will go to extreme lengths to get a few puffs even when the weather (and the law) is against them!
