i have done this thing two years ago but i wasn't satisfied even with a re-do. so it hasn't been crossed off my bucket list. i am generally happy with this, except for the fracking bubbles. i tried everything - hot water, cold water, not-so-hot water and not-so-cold water; tepid water, slow flow water, mineral water and it's freaking the same thing. bubbles! bubbles! and more bubbles! it's making my water break!!!!
thank you kindly for your visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated.
i apologize to jackie as i haven't clued in yet as to what i have to do for my push from her; and to warn anita that i might again be late for her push for me.
Bubbles? What bubbles? I love the joyous colours! Makes me think of beach umbrellas on the sand in the south of France! No, I can't say I ever saw ones that looked like that...but it makes me think of them!
@Weezilou - awww! you are always so good to me. but i see tiny bubbles, not in the wine, but in the water. they don't make me feel happy nor fine! but you did! :-)
I really like the effect. I am having extreme difficulty finding any bubbles. I must have a go at doing this. I think I tried it once but I don't think I used water in my glass, I think I left it empty. I shall have to troll through old ancient photos and see if I can find it!
@whimsicalgrateful - nope! glass is perfect! the bubbles are settled in the bottom of the glass. and there are also a few visible ones just before the water line. i left the glass on the counter overnight, then i whisked it to get rid of the bubbles. hopefully it will remain that way tonight when i get home then i would do a retake. thank you, marta.
I like this! I do understand the part about being bothered by something that you cannot control, and is not supposed to be there, but this is still a wonderful refraction shot, and also something I have not tried yet. How did the retake turn out?
