we drove to high park this morning after breakfast. high park is at the west end of the city and it is a parkland that is as big as downtown toronto, if not bigger. i've only been to the north side where two years ago i photographed the famous cherry blossoms. there were no cherry blossoms yet and it may not be for another two weeks if this darn cold persists.
we entered from the south side of the park and found out there was a little zoo in there. it's free to get in and i would imagine that place to be teeming with people and their children come the warm weather. all the animals, yaks, bisons, alpacas, reindeers, and all hairy and wooley animals would always turn their back to me. so i got a lot of animal butt photos and i'm pretty sure it will come handy one of these days when i re-join the get pushed challenge. i was starting to feel insecure by all the animals turning from me when we saw this sweet reindeer. well, it till ignored me but at least it didn't showed me its behind but just did sideglances at me.
it was rather a challenge to take photos as the animals were protected from the public by tall chain link fence. this one was just a couple of feet from the fence.
the title reminds me of this song that was popular in the old country some thirty-five years ago.
