just because i'm from the old school, my socks are either black or white or to some extent, gray. i don't ever remember having any coloured socks except one time i did allow myself to wear very light purple or pink. it's bad enough these days that i couldn't find a decent pair of runners without the neon colours. thankfully we have a really awesome dollar store around toronto and for a dollar and a quarter i got four pairs of neon coloured socks, which i don't intend to keep so after this shot, they all got thrown in to the box bound for the philippines.
in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness month, which is being spearheaded by marta @whimsicalgrateful. whereas i will be posting something yellow or with yellow for a week (as i will be travelling in mid september and may not fulfill the challenge), marta and others supporting the cause will be doing this for a month. i may continue for as long as i can incorporate something yellow in my shot, but for this week, it's all about yellow on this album. won't you join in this worthy cause?
There is no way you would be able to sneak up on anyone with these shoes and socks!! I know the people in the Philippines will be thrilled to get them and then make an absolutely fabulous yellow color shot for the challenge! Nice composition full of color!
@grammyn - :-) i admit, the runners are actually mine. i had no other choice, except an all black runner for twice the amount of this. the other styles in the store are ridiculously stupid. next time i get a pair of runners, i shall consider spray painting them which is the trend nowadays here. the socks are definitely in the box right now! thank you, katy.
Running shoes are always so bright now... I like them but also wish they left the more calm option available too. They will love the socks and you are so kind to send them!
