well, actually it's a moon setting down towards the end of this morning's blue hour when i woke up. i could've gotten a better shot but i had to change tripods three times (must remember to throw the first two away. bummers!) and by the time i was set up, the clouds in the horizon had started to eat up the moon. in fact, a blanket of gray had been over the city all day. (see bill's shot from tonight http://365project.org/bill_fe/2015/2016-03-22 ) also i realized that my eyes are really bad after waking up as i couldn't focus properly. but i like what i got here, kinda sinister, don't you think so? traffic wasn't so bad though as normally by that time those cars would have been moving at a snail's pace.
for the song title challenge, as when i first saw this from my bedroom window, the song "bad moon rising" by the credence clearwater revival came to mind and been humming it all day. which was pretty fortuitous because i woke up to more news on the bombing in bruxelles, the former mayor of toronto died at the age of 46, and i have a bad tummy ache!
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated.
wonderful capture and pretty slow shutter speed so those cars are going at the snails pace? I'll try to get a glasses photo tomorrow since I brought pink cherry blossom glasses today :-)
