flatly ironic

i bought this iron some 20 years ago as a back up when i thought the one i had was about to say bye-bye, but i used it for 20 years and last year i just wanted something different so i gave the old one to goodwill and started using this "new" one. then the flood happened in the old apartment and this got boxed and i didn't open the box until a week after i bought yet a new flat iron that now i had set aside because i found this one again so now i have another back up iron. if you're confused i'm sorry, but i'm glad i am in good company. :-P

this maybe mundane, but it could've been worse: i was thinking i'd do a week of self portraits in different make up and my new boho tops. but i almost barfed at the idea so you're lucky!

for the new mundane challenge, the object is "iron" as in a flat iron.
