today is thanksgiving weekend for canadians. there's so much to be thankful for despite what's happening around us.
today, after my sister and i had dimsum breakfast at chinatown, she suggested we go to high park in the west end to see the trees' changing colours. surprise! save for a few trees, the whole park, all 400 acres of it, is still as green as ever. hopefully with the rains and the onset of lower temperatures, we might see a quick change during the course of the week.
we encountered this group of syrians, i'm guessing they're some of the refugees that have made it to canada in the last several months since the unrest in syria.
to all my 365 friends, whether you're canadian or not, i'm so thankful to have to call you my friends!
this is a three-fer: tagging this for the street challenge, the six-word story challenge and for the first ever black and white challenge.
