faith

"faith is seeing light with your heart when all your eyes see is darkness."

not happy with this and i don't know if this works but it'll have to do.

over at five plus two, we are emulating the classic paintings. why don't you try a self-portrait in the style of the famous masterpieces. check us out here: https://365project.org/fiveplustwo/365/2017-11-15
I like it, but if anything, the Bible might be a little overexposed

I think it works well for your series and you couldn't pick a better subject

High key effect, high key meaning.

I think you can do better than this with this sort of message! I would like a bit of bible blur (that is what it was for me as a little girl) and then some total focus on one word. Just black and white or mono colour!

I didn't know that they did a Red Letter King James version - my only Red Letter bible is in the American Standard Translation.

I think it's the fact that it's not as high contrast as the others- there's that worn-leather look on the spine. I still like it, but that may be what's bothering you.

@vignouse You can pretty much get a red-letter edition of any translation of the Bible now. There are literally dozens of translations and paraphrases to choose from!

@olivetreeann Mostly, my bibles were all bought 25 or more years ago - the only ones I've bought more recently are French translations. In English I tend to favour the N.I.V... which I like to think stands for the Nearly Infallible Version ;-)

I like thid, but for your series, I agree with @olivetreeann.

@vignouse Yes, I'd have to agree- it's one of the best out there. However, I am a New American Standard fan but I often use the NIV too. I used to work in a Bible Bookstore- so I've seen a lot of red letter editions and translations!
