the angry sky by summerfield

the angry sky

this was from two days ago when the weather was playing jekyll and hyde like it had been doing for the last couple of days. this is looking south-southeast. funny, but when the dark clouds had passed, the horizon on the right which is the waters of lake ontario was glistening from the sunshine, and quickly obscured by clouds and fog. as i haven't gone out since monday morning, balcony shots and the toronto weather is all i could offer you today.

our church is fundraising and the members who are preserve savvy are selling their creations. i've ordered 2 jars of pickled beets which is a big favourite of mine, a jar of wildflower honey, a jar of peach chutney, and a jar of orange marmalade. ever since i came to canada, i have always loved those homemade preserves and always make it a point to procure some, especially when it's for a fundraising.
Stunning capture

Wow- you can almost feel how heavy the clouds are with moisture. However, I'd rather think about the goodies you're going to enjoy!

I like this so much. The mood is so depressing, but that's ok.
