it's sad when your home is full of objects and props and they don't interest you enough to warrant a photograph be taken. i haven't gone out in a week so when my sister called to meet her downtown, i forced myself to go out of the apartment.
there really was nowhere to go as the city is on lockdown mode. but malls and other places had started putting up their holiday decorations but didn't manage to take any photos. my camera was trapped underneath my pushcart which was filled with boxes of panettone!
so i raided the pantry and fancied to take a photo of the little skull bottle of vodka sitting around there with the other booze.
once again, the gremlins have invaded this camera and changed the time just to confuse me. all my cameras are like that, the time would just change by itself. maybe time to buy a new one.
speaking of time, next year our province will officially adopt the daylight savings time so we needn't have to go into the torture of changing clocks and we would have extra daylight all year. but the officials are trying to reach out to the province of québec and the state of new york to convince them to do the same. let's drink to that!
I like how you composed this picture. It’s very creative me you gave me the idea of digging in my closets :-)
I applaud your province for adopting the daylight savings time. In Arizona we never change the clock and we love it.
You have some interesting things lurking in your cupboards Vikki. Daylight saving is a divisive issue in Australia. Some states put their clocks forward an hour in Summer and others don't. I'm thankful that in Western Australia we leave the clocks alone.
What an unusual bottle! It makes for a fabulous subject for a photo though. It would cause me to think twice about having more than one glass of whatever was in it!
