my sister took me out for a thanksgiving lunch at our favourite fish place. we found a ring on the pavement, a heart-shaped sapphire surrounded by tiny diamonds. she doesn't care for jewelry so she handed it to me to look at. the workmanship and the setting both looked perfect and it was a beautiful ring. it almost looked real. i told her, look around maybe there's a matching pair of earrings or pendant somewhere. 🤣 i would have to look at it through my magnifier as the stones were too small and there seemed to be some writing on the inside. as i had suspected, it was only a costume jewelry -- pandora was etched on the inside with some numbers i couldn't recall anymore.
we were going to go to the beaches so i could take some photos but the bus was scheduled to pass by our stop in 30 minutes and my tummy was acting queer (no, not that queer) so i decided we should just go home.
good thing i took a couple of subway shots. this fulfils this week's theme for the 52 captures which is 'leading lines'.
Leading lines all over the place. I'm glad you had a good day. and the ring sounds nice. Pandora may be costume jewelry but at the prices charged for their jewelry, it's upscale costume jewelry.
