week 5 of the 52 captures challenge calls for an image using sepia tones. not having any idea what to shoot i thought i'd play and help out the tag challenge that's suppose to expire at the end of january, so you might want to help out the host, too, and put in your entries. anyway, i got 'books' and 'monochrome' and that made my life easy today. although i don't know how many times i can shoot these books and present them differently each time. i might be running out of options in the next little while.
i did go to the st. lawrence market in downtown to get some raw nuts. as usual i forgot to bring my camera. hunger fang got me though so i bought a slice of pizza (not had pizza in sooooo long!) and my sister and i stood outside in the market patio. we couldn't sit at the tables because they were fenced in with knee high snow and ice. we ate with our food on top of the hardened snow. my sister had the genius idea of taking my photo sitting on one of the tables amidst the ice. i didn't even think to give her my phone so she could take my photo with it. suffice it to say, we were an amusement to other people standing on the side watching us whilst eating.
Your outing sounds like so much fun. I think you do a remarkable job of finding new ways to present the same subject so that they never are boring or repetitive. This one is wonderful.
