the produce section of the grocery store offers a lot of half-and-half opportunity. you just have to keep your eyes open.

most times the workers are unheralded for their artistry in displaying veggies and fruits, coordinating the colours to make the wares more attractive to shoppers (especially those with cameras) and thus entice them to put more things in their carts, even items not on their grocery lists! i go to three different grocery stores that are in proximity within the large mall where i finish off my morning walk. one is a high-end gourmet grocery store, the other is the mid-range grocery store, and yet another one is a small section of a large pharmacy. rather expectedly, the high-end one always have a good display of their wares, and sometimes it surprises me to find that their prices are comparable to the other grocery stores'.

a good display and good prices makes the choice of store a no brainer for me. These are looking luscious and make the perfect half and half. Lemon and lime are the perfect pairing.
