here's another door that stopped me on my tracks yesterday as i took some pictures (i think i have better eyes when i am sick!). this is of a two-storey single detached brick home a few streets away from the more tony part of toronto, but around the same area. it has an arched toprail and a little smoked "peep" window; the knocker is a nice touch, of course. there are two elegant planters on either side and the bonus here is the little paper on the floor still waiting to be picked up by its owners. and there is still snow/ice on the evergreen bush just below it. of course, a red door is always an attractive door.
