Spotted Flycatcher Feeding Chicks by susiemc

Spotted Flycatcher Feeding Chicks

This nest in a coconut shell is on the side of the house and is easy to see from the kitchen window. Both adults are going backwards and forwards to the nest constantly.
Well captured..... are you sure you run a B & B and not a Nature Reserve.... haha, such a variety of birds & little creatures !!

What a superb shot. You must compile a photo book of all your pics, Sue.

@dizzyd Thank you Helen. You're right, it really is like a nature reserve here. We're very lucky. We do enjoy having guests to share it with.

@foxes37 Thanks Lis. Yes, I do intend to compile a photo book. I'm putting the best bird shots into a folder at the moment. I've already got loads but there are many more that I haven't taken yet, and that's only the garden!

@chimfa Thanks Jane. Yes it is a coconut shell. The other half is on the wall at the back of the house and that too has Spotted Flycatchers nesting in it.

@virtualbrownie @gille Thank you VB and Gill. I had to be patient and wait quite a long time to get the shot I wanted.
