We had a day out today and drove north about 2 hours to Lake Vyrnwy. It's actually a reservoir but very picturesque. The fairytale tower is in fact a pump house built in a typical Victorian style. The building above the pump house in the top right picture is a hotel. I've never stayed there but I have had afternoon tea there some time ago. It has amazing views. The bottom right picture is the road across the dam. As you can see we had amazing weather.
A gorgeous collage -- I love Lake Vyrnwy -- we used to go there on a summer's day for a picnic and walk with Alfie -- hope to be well enough to go there again perhaps in the summer !
