Remember the Olympics?

This is the Velodrome. I didn't manage to get to the Olympics (although I was glued to the TV the whole time) so when we were in London recently we walked through the Olympic Park. A lot of work has been done and it has changed a lot since 2012 but much of it is very recognizable, including the Velodrome. We went inside and had a cup of coffee and watched the cyclists riding round.

We were also glued to the TV for the Olympics. Always are when they are on. Look forward to them from one time to the next. Have they kept all the Olympic grounds, or have some been demolished, etc? Sounds like that from what you say.

It's good that the infrastructure they put in place for the Olympics is still being put to good use. Interesting to be able to go and visit.

@aglennc @gilbertwood @nickspicsnz It's a very impressive building both inside and out. This building along with some of the others were modified after the Olympics to make them more suitable for continued use. The Velodrome seems to be use all the time.
