Emily was very keen to have a baking day. Oscar wasn't so keen. Emily looked through her recipe books and decided what she would like to cook/bake and this morning she and I went to the supermarket to buy the things she needed, leaving Oscar with granddad. Then the bakathon began. Emily made cheese straws, sausage rolls, ham and sweetcorn quiche and chocolate chip cookies. This is what we had for supper. It was wonderful.
Wow, she has been busy, she looks very proud of her handiwork. I bet it was all delicious.
Maybe Oscar wasn't keen on cooking, but I am sure he was at the front of the queue when it came to eating.
