This lovely clematis is full of blooms all of a sudden. I'm puzzled because the colour of the flowers is quite different from last year. Check out https://365project.org/susiemc/album-1-year-5/2019-05-21 and you'll see that they were much much more blue last year. It doesn't look like the same clematis but it is.
Clematis are odd plants. I had one that used to blossom in spring and again in fall but the earlier blooms were doubles and the later blooms just singles.They seem to have changeable flower making instructions.
