This very old and very beautiful church dates back to 1679. It’s only a few miles from where I live but I had no idea it was there until I did a walk with a friend recently. It’s not really in a village, there’s just the odd house and farm nearby. There’s no electricity in the church and I suspect there’s no heating. It was fascinating to see it and read the information on the wall.
How wonderful it was open & you could just go in……sadly quite unusual these days. A wonderful old church…so much history inside those walls. Did you have a bit of a tinkle on those piano keys?
