This is one of three large half barrels that I use for growing some of my squash. They sit in front of the house so Chris plants them up for the spring with bulbs and pansies and then when they've finished flowering they'll go in the garden. This is why every year we have more and more daffodils in the garden, popping up everywhere. I never know where Chris has planted them so I have nice surprises.
Beautiful collection of flowers and colours. NO wonder I don’t have daffodils popping up in my yard…no one here plants them. My husband golfs, not gardens :P
What a pretty display! And how wonderful to have daffodils popping up by surprise! By the way, Sue, you made me laugh with your comment that the maple tree assassin would get along well with your neighbour. So true!
