This Year's Growth

Our magnificent tree fern is still sending up fronds but soon it will have to be wrapped in its winter duvet and there it will stay until next spring.
I would love one of these. I see them growing wild in NZ but they are so expensive here in the UK. My friend has one doing well in her south facing garden & she just wraps some of that lightweight stuff from the garden centre so I might have a go one day. Yours is looking magnificent!

A beautiful tree fern, it obviously likes the spot it has been given!

so funny that some have said it's huge, but my first thought was how small it is considering you have had it for at least a couple of years as I remember it - doesn't yet look like a tree - they grow huge and fast here :) hope it makes it through the winter

Beautiful. We have one in our garden but after recent dry warm weather it suffered so we had to cut it back. It is growing again now though.

Beautiful tree fern. It seems to enjoy where it’s been placed. Trust it’ll make it through to next spring. We planted a small fern plant in our flower garden we will have to protect it throughout the winter too.
