My New Egret

When I was at Berrington Hall National Trust property on Saturday I bought this egret from the shop there. It's metal, made in Zimbabwe from recycled material. I thought it would look nice by the pond. I thought Chris would like it too. I was wrong. Well, he may like it, I don't know but he says it's not going anywhere near "his" pond because the pond is "natural". I'm gutted! This afternoon I took it outside (Chris is at work) and put it beside the waterfall and took photos. It did look good there. It's now back inside in the spare bedroom. Perhaps I'll put it outside "my" summer house.

Ooh dear ,Sue it looks good in situ by the pond , perhaps you can persuade Chris that it will deter the heron from pinching your fish from the pond !!

I tthink it makes a lovely addition to the pond area. I would have left it there for Chris to see and maybe change his mind.
