I took a walk up to the highland cattle today, thinking with them been from way up north they would be delighted, even frolicking in the snow.
I was pretty sad to find them huddled up to the hedgerow, trying to find some shelter from the mini snow storm.
So it turns out the pretty cows are not so rufty tufty after all, but I did get this close up of him. Even better, I got to give his snowy head a little pat.
he is looking rather sad and forlorn. I always try and convince myself that these animals do not feel the cold - but I have no idea why they wouldn't in temperatures like this. lovely close up.
