Following on from yesterdays Housing Development edit, apparently this is what the original occupants did once they heard planning permission was granted :)
I think I could do a whole month of edits of various stages of the build but the Rainbow challenge is looming....
Done for the WWYD challenge, details and the original image I worked on can be found here https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/31166/what-would-you-do-number-166-starts-now
@ludwigsdiana Hi Diana, thank you so much. I know like me, you are quite new to editing, I think you work in PS but I use Gimp 2.8 (which is free) and have just discovered the cloning tool which I used to fill in over the house and boat and also remove the tree from the front of the house on the original image.(which I then cut and copied onto another layer) I then used shots of the house, raft and dog on different layers and moved around until I was fairly happy. The reflections were duplicate and flipped images with the opacity reduced. I have so much to learn but most days I discover a new techinique.
This is so much fun - I love the way you have used so many techniques to produce such a cohesive image. I find editing like this is engrossing - but also a little addictive. You must have had such a clear idea of where you were heading with this - it's so very creative. Cheers
@robz Thank you Rob, I too spend far too much time editing and absolutely agree it's addictive! It's so much fun when you discover something new, the trick is to remember how to do it :) Thank you for the follow, very happy to follow back
So creative and clever, Suzanne! I enjoyed reading your response to Diana explaining your processing steps! So interesting! Amazing that you even got the reflections in the image! :-)
@suzanne234 Thanks so much for the info Suzanne, I really appreciate it. I work with PS ELements and Topaz Studio, which I love. I am no way near what you do, and feel like an absolute beginner. I have not even tried anything that complicated. I love your work :-)
